Seafood Craze at Redtail Shrimps and More

CDO recently had a new seafood restaurant called Redtail Shrimps & More located at Papa Juanitos Square which opened last April 24, 2014. It is similar to The Boiling Point in Manila where customers eat using their hands and seafood is placed inside a bag.

So I know everyone has been curious about this new seafood restaurant, let's begin with the steps on how you would order your favorite seafood in Redtail. They call it "Pick your catch". As what Redtail says, Their fresh catch is boiled, dredged in one of their special sauces for full maximum flavor and served with corn.

So here are the steps!

Step 1: Pick your catch. Select from the variety of seafood according to your preference.

If you're not fond of seafood, they also offer pork, chicken, fish and dessert. So here's the rest of the menu:

As for Elena, she got 1 bag of Local Mussels in Redtail Style Spicy flavor.

Boo got the Shrimps in Redtail Style Spicy flavor.

As for me, I got the Crabs in Redtail Style Mild flavor.

Jessa on the other hand got the Fisherman's Catch in Redtail Style Mild Flavor.

The Redtail Style flavor is a must-try. It smells like butter and tastes salty-spicy. The sauce itself is already a delicious viand. We also ordered Orange Coolers for Php95 (3 glasses) and steamed rice for Php25.

Each customer are given cellophane gloves and bib.

Customers are also given the chance to write on their wall for feedback.

Here are more of our pictures while waiting for our food. It takes 10-15 minutes for the food to get served. They put the bags inside a bucket when serving it to their customers.

We paid Php1600 in total. Not bad for 4 persons. Each bag is actually good for 2-3 persons. We just ordered 1 bag each because we were so hungry when we went there. Lol!

Ambiance: 7/10

Food Presentation: 7/10

Taste: 9/10

Customer Service: 9/10

I suggest they get a bigger place because their restaurant are always packed with people.

So that's it guys. If I was asked if I'm going back to dine here, I would say definitely! I actually am going there again right now and on this Thursday and Saturday. I'm craving for Shrimps in Redtail Sauce!
